Navigating competently and coping with symptoms
Symptom Navi supports cancer patients in Switzerland in dealing with their cancer and the possible consequences of therapies and the disease.
The Association for the Promotion of Self-Management (VFSM) is a non-profit organisation. With Symptom Navi, it promotes partnership-based cooperation between cancer patients and specialists across the entire care chain.
Donation
We support cancer patients and their families in dealing with the disease and the consequences of treatment – scientifically sound yet easy to understand. As a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations and are very grateful for them.
With your donation, you support the updating and further development of the Symptom Navi programme as well as access to our scientifically verified information.
Why are not all flyers publicly available
The Symptom Navi flyers are highly valued by cancer patients, their loved ones and professionals. Creating and updating the scientifically sound content is very time-consuming and resource-intensive. Unfortunately, the volume of donations is not sufficient to maintain our services without the participation of users and the institutions that provide them. Therefore, we have to charge a small fee to everyone.
For institutions: The benefits of promoting self-management in cancer patients through our programme are undisputed. Please contact us if you would like your patients and their families to benefit from our programme.
For private users: Please contact your treating institution if you would like to have electronic access to the information. If your institution does not work with us, you can also register with us as a private individual and obtain access at.
